In India, ‘Chhaava’ has amassed ₹477.5 crore by its 20th day, positioning it as one of the year’s highest-grossing films. The film is on track to surpass the ₹500 crore mark, needing just ₹22.5 crore more to achieve this feat.
Expansion with Telugu-Dubbed Version
To further its reach, ‘Chhaava’ is set to release a Telugu-dubbed version, potentially boosting its box office numbers, especially in South Indian states where historical dramas often resonate with audiences.
Vicky Kaushal’s Upcoming Projects
Following ‘Chhaava’, Vicky Kaushal is collaborating with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali on ‘Love & War’, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. For this role, Kaushal underwent a significant transformation, reducing his weight from 105 kg, which he had gained for ‘Chhaava’, to 80-85 kg to portray a character in the armed forces.
