Tim Seifert, the wicketkeeper-batter from New Zealand, is set to make his Major League Cricket debut in 2025 after signing with the San Francisco Unicorns. The 30-year-old cricketer will join his fellow New Zealand teammates, Finn Allen and Corey Anderson, at the Unicorns. Seifert is excited to contribute to the team’s success in the upcoming season.
“I’ve been following MLC from afar over the last couple of seasons, particularly keeping an eye on the Kiwi players,” Seifert said about his move to MLC. “I can’t wait to get started this summer and add some more firepower to a team that is already stacked with talent. We’re in a great position to take things one step further than last year.”

Shane Watson, the head coach of the San Francisco Unicorns, expressed his excitement about adding Seifert to the squad. “We look for both quality cricketers and quality personalities when bringing players into the Unicorns fold, and Tim definitely checks both those boxes,” Watson said.
