Jaya Bachchan Criticizes Paparazzi at Rono Mukherjee’s Prayer Meet in Mumbai
Veteran Bollywood actress Jaya Bachchan was seen expressing displeasure at the paparazzi during Rono Mukherjee’s prayer meet held in Mumbai. She was accompanied by her daughter Shweta Bachchan, actor Kajol, and other members of the Mukherjee family.
As the paparazzi surrounded the area to capture celebrities arriving at the event, Jaya Bachchan appeared visibly annoyed. In a viral video, while descending the stairs with Rono’s son Samrat Mukherjee, Jaya was heard asking him in Bengali, “Eder kano daako?” (Why do you call them?). Samrat promptly replied, “Aami daakini” (I didn’t call them).
Later, while waiting for her car, Jaya sarcastically told the photographers, “Chaliye aap log bhi saath mein. Aajaiyye” (Come along with us), before muttering, “Bakwas sab, gande gande se sab” (Nonsense, all of them are bad).
🔹 Not the First Incident

🔹 Her Last On-Screen Appearance
She was last seen playing the role of a stern family matriarch in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, directed by Karan Johar. The movie starred Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, and Shabana Azmi.
