The producers of the forthcoming comedy Housefull 5 announced on Monday that actor Abhishek Bachchan will be playing the lead role. The actor, who previously starred in the third movie in the franchise, will be appearing in the upcoming film with Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh.
The casting of Bachchan was announced by the production company Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment on its official X page. “We’re happy to have @juniorbachchan back with the Housefull family. Following the release of Housefull in 2010, there were three sequels in the series: Housefull 2 (2012), Housefull 3 (2016), and Housefull 4 (2019).
Sajid Nadiadwala is the producer of Housefull 5. The director of Housefull 5, Tarun Mansukhani, is well-known for Dostana and Drive.
