Ananya Birla declared on Monday that she is giving up her career as a singer in order to concentrate on her business endeavors, which include a design house and a microfinance enterprise.
Ananya Birla posted on the social networking site Instagram, writing, “Guys, this has been the hardest decision.” I can’t even begin to describe the emotional toll it’s taking on me trying to manage my music career and the businesses I own and operate at the same time. I appreciate all of the kind feedback I’ve received about the songs I’ve published. Since there is so much talent in our own nation, I hope that one day we will be able to enjoy English music created by our own citizens. Once again, thank you. It’s time to devote all of my efforts to the business world (sic).
