The former player for India, Parthiv Patel, made a significant announcement on the BCCI’s search for a new head coach for their men’s cricket team following Rahul Dravid’s departure following the T20 World Cup in 2024. The 39-year-old feels that Team India doesn’t need to hire a foreign coach because there are plenty of qualified instructors in the Indian cricket system.

Remarkably, a few weeks ago the BCCI published a call for applications to become the head coach of the Indian cricket team. Since then, they have been connected to other elite foreign coaches, like as Stephen Fleming, Ricky Ponting, and Justin Langer, who may succeed Rahul Dravid in the position this summer.
