Early Life and Struggles

Domestic Career and IPL Selection
Before his IPL debut, Ashwani had limited experience in senior domestic cricket. Featuring in only four T20 matches, four List A games. And two Ranji Trophy matches for Punjab. Even though he was ignored by franchises such as KKR, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), and Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction, Mumbai Indians saw his potential and signed him for ₹30 lakh. Impact and Future Prospects
Ashwani’s first innings have received a lot of appreciation with MI captain Hardik Pandya complimenting the scouting department for bringing out such a talent.
