A month before the competition gets underway, on April 29, New Zealand revealed their T20 World Cup uniform.
What does the T20 World Cup shirt for New Zealand look like?
Today (April 29), New Zealand Cricket presented a new uniform for the T20 World Cup, which will be hosted in the USA and the West Indies, in addition to announcing their roster for the competition.
Their new uniform is a throwback jersey that honors their World Cup outfit from 1999. The team name is shown on a white strip across the breast of the aquamarine shirt, which has very little black in it.
Diverse responses have been received by the jersey. The absence of the typical black color associated with the “BlackCaps” has not gone down well with certain fans, despite the fact that many appreciate the classic aquamarine shade.
Starting tomorrow, April 30, the NZC store will sell the new jersey.
